We’re always to eager to hear ideas for the FutureMe community. Either vote on an existing idea or enter a new one!

    we should be allowed to edit thr writing like in microsoft and other programes, we should get o choose the size colour and structure also a spellchecker!

    Sorry for the name, I'd like to stay anonymous!

    I would be quite happy to pay a small amount for this service - and by small amount, I mean small. Say I used this site for the rest of my life, posting letter after letter, and I mean, even if I didn't, there is no way I'd pay per letter. I might consider paying per year, but nothing over £5 - I'm English, so I don't know what that translates to in dollars.

  4. Allow uusers to send messages at certain times of the day in specific time zones.

    What if it's Dec 2012 in America, but Jan 1 2013 in Australia already? There may a possibility of letters not being sent on the correct dates due to differences in time zones.

  6. let a user specify a time frame and frequency for random delivery of the letter.

    An example. The user could specify: for this letter, send it to me [3] times sometime between [1] and [3] [months] from now.

    I'd use this to repeatedly remind myself about some insight. The random nature of it perhaps opens the door to some synchronicity or serendipity.

    I think by making this happen it will make the site much better like how cool would it be it we can send a video from 5 years ago that would be awesome

  9. Make the "send to" date a users choice drop down

    This would allow you to continue with the " one you send it , no editing" concept. If the users can't get it right they are only sending it to them selves so what's the big deal if they send it to the wrong date ? Go back and send it again to the correct date but having the choice of date to send to would make this service awesome.

    Images and voice clips sometimes have emotional attachments.

  18. Allow users to hide their letters

    Allow users to hide their future letters so the user will (kinda) forgot that they had sent a letter and will be surprised when they receive one. And of course it is permanent and cannot be undo.

    Allow registered users to send any given message to multiple addresses at once, using semi-colons or something in the email address field. Currently it seems I have to send multiple copies to one different address at a time!
