We’re always to eager to hear ideas for the FutureMe community. Either vote on an existing idea or enter a new one!

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.

  1. Don't release public letters early

    Don't display public letters until they date they're meant to arrive, so that the people who sent it don't see it early.

  2. Allow you to bolden, italicize, and underline your letters for more expression and clarity.

    That way we could write to our future-selves about works of literature, etc. with the proper writing conventions!
    It's also nice to be able to be able to REALLY emphasize something with the added tools.

  5. Video message

    Add audio messages as well as letters. How cool would it be if a loved one received an audio or even a video message from the grave that they could keep forever!

  6. Letter Timeline

    It would be handy to have a timeline of when all the messages would be sent. That way you could see, in order, when they would be delivered in comparison to others.

  11. Random date generator

    There should be a random date button, so you can surprise yourself. You can pick a time range so it doesn't come 50 years from now. For example: you can pick any where from 30 days to 1 year and then the site picks a date and you are on your merry way.

  12. Tagging public letters

    Be able to tag public letters/file them under certain topics. Reading the book showed me how universal some struggles are, and this might make letters easier to find.

  16. Change the Date!

    Although this is likely to be rejected due to the violation of the space-time continuum, allow users to edit the dates of the messages allowing them to be sent further or closer than the chosen date.
