We’re always to eager to hear ideas for the FutureMe community. Either vote on an existing idea or enter a new one!

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. I can't take pictures

    I cant take pictures. I think it becuse I cant see the bottom of the photo link but I'd really love to take a picture. How do I do it? (if you are in the same case, vote please: so I'll be able to know if other people have the same problem:) )

  3. Make the "send to" date a users choice drop down

    This would allow you to continue with the " one you send it , no editing" concept. If the users can't get it right they are only sending it to them selves so what's the big deal if they send it to the wrong date ? Go back and send it again to the correct date but having the choice of date to send to would make this service awesome.

  4. allow us to use HTML in the emails sent.

    Such as allowing us to change font size, bold text, change font colour, etcetera. Just a thought. :)

  5. Resend email every year option

    I think it would be nice, if you could have an email send year after year. Like "Today your kid took his first steps" and be reminded of that date every year.

  6. Add an edit button and a re-send validation email

    Edit button so we can edit the letter ( I don't really care about mistakes if it's from yourself you will udnerstand you :D but yeah.)

    A resend validation email button.
    Now this I say because I have sent a few emails but I have only recieved 4 email validations when I have sent 10 emails, can you please add this in? :D

  7. Fix problem with pastbin

    I got a letter from a couple months ago and it is telling me that the pastbin ID is unknown. I am really upset with this. I am unable to see what I wrote and I was looking forward to what I wrote. Thanks.

  8. Why the 30 day limit?

    I wanted to send myself an email to myself tomorrow, and yet it said that it couldn't because of a 30 day limit?

  9. have an option for permanently hiding a sent message in the delivery outbox

    I think this would be great for registered users who use the site frequently. Hiding the message instead of seeing it for delivery would be more exciting and you're more apt to forget about writing it.

  10. allow us to see upcoming dates of future letters in ascending order, like before

    So, I used to make sure I got a letter every month from some time in the past, but now since you can't see what letters are coming up (as far as "date received" goes, you can only see letters that have been received, but not the letters in order of when they will arrive), I can't plan for the future like I did before. Is there a way to make it go back to how it was?

  11. Allow periodic reminders at set intervals.

    Setting a goal is great but tracking your progress is critical if you're ever going to achieve the goal.
    Allow the ability to set reminders (5 year goals could have a yearly reminder, 1 year goals could be monthly or quarterly).

    Allow users to update the status to track their progress.

  12. Add landscape support to iPhone app

    Currently the iPhone version does not support landscape. I prefer typing any amount in landscape.

  13. Under the "date sent to" tab, allow us to see the titles of the letters we haven't received yet

    You can see this under the "date written" tab, why not make it so we can see the unopened letters chronologically too?

  14. have a random button, but you can choose the year but the day and month are random.

    its can just be a surprise email to your future self.

  17. Let us change our timezones.

    So that I can opt to send myself an email on NYE or something, and actually receive it on NYE (australia time) and not according to a different timezone.
