We’re always to eager to hear ideas for the FutureMe community. Either vote on an existing idea or enter a new one!

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  5. send video of us or voicemail

    I would like to take myself on video because so that we can see each other a bit when we were little. And for voice messages I find it more fun than writing a letter to be able to get along

    I'm Kenyan, here we extensively use a mobile banking service called M-pesa. Perhaps you could consider adding it as a payment method too. Thank you.

  10. Add filter and Search function in "Read Public Letters"

    Add filter function by sending or receiving interval or mail timeout in "Read Public Letters"
    Also can add search function
    The purpose of this is to increase the reader's experience with public letters.

  16. Let me spread the word, share on social networks!

    I've just joined, and from what I've heard this site has been online for years, so I'm amazed having just written a letter to myself that I'm not asked (after submitting the letter) to share the news on social networks that I have used your service (not the letter itself obviously). Did I miss the option?

    Perhaps also include a pre-populated message to post such as "I have just written a letter to myself using Future Me, to be delivered in [defined period] from now.

  19. compulsarily ask for the photo of that moment when you are writing a letter

    while writing the letter futureme.org should ask for the photo (not from gallery) , which should be kept private even on public posts .
    As by this when futureme will recieve mail he/she could recall the memory,😉😝

  20. I found a bug.

    Hello! I just found a bug that allow you to read letters before they are delivered.

    If you click in "read public letters" you will find a link like this:
    https://www.futureme.org/letters/public/xxxxxx-a-letter-from-february-20th-2019

    Now, if you go to you account and mark the traveling letter as "Public", and put your mouse cursor over your own email, you have the number of the letter. Then, if you change the public letter link to your own letter number with the deliver date, you can read the travelling message.

    Something like this: https://www.futureme.org/letters/public/YYYYYYY-a-letter-from-JANUARY-30th-2025.
