We’re always to eager to hear ideas for the FutureMe community. Either vote on an existing idea or enter a new one!

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Send to a random date within a range

    Allow emails to be sent to a random date in the future, with the range of possible dates set by the user and remembered for each new email written.

  2. batch change email address

    If I send multiple letters to myself over time, I would like the ability to change all the destination emails of these letters as a batch instead of individually, should this become necessary. i.e. All messages to abc@futureme.org could be set to xyz@futureme.org with one change rather than changing each individually.

  3. Help me!

    I signed up for futureme back in 2009 (I even still have my registration email), I'm fairly sure I sent a letter too, but I've tried logging back into my account and it doesn't even recognise my email address, let alone any password I try to enter. This seems to be the only method of communication you guys have to get in touch aside from social media, so if you could contact me and please help I would be incredibly appreciative.

  5. Let me have 2 accounts

    I'd like to send letters to 2 different email addresses. Not change, but have 2 accounts. One for my new business, one for personal.
    Letters are very different for each and I want them to go to each email account individually and independently. -- If the business fails, quite frankly, I don't want to get that letter... let it die with the canceled email address... but the personal one I want to get no matter what.

  6. Don't show the older letters when I log in unless I click on a button

    I'd like to keep the older letters a surprise when I get them, but when I log in at the end to send my new 'futureme' letter, it lists all my old ones and has the date sent/to-be-delivered. I'd rather the list of older letters not show up automatically so I can totally be 'surprised' when they arrive in my e-mail!

  8. more than one email addresses

    I'm planning to send for more than one addresses this mail so could I just type the email there and separate it with a comma? It would be awesome since I don't know what addresses I will keep in the future

    I cant take pictures. I think it becuse I cant see the bottom of the photo link but I'd really love to take a picture. How do I do it? (if you are in the same case, vote please: so I'll be able to know if other people have the same problem:) )

  14. Create a wordcloud of commonly used words in letters

    I think it would be very interesting to see what some of the most common words are in letters written to the future. This is an example of a word cloud btw: http://www.whitehouse.gov/sites/default/files/other/sotu_wordle.png

  15. DELIVERY DATE CHANGE

    Please, provide the feature to change delivery date of our letters.

    In my case, I don't know why, the letter's delivery date was inputed to the wrong year.

    We would really appreciate if you guys could do this for us.

    I'm dying to have my letter delivered!

  18. Make the "send to" date a users choice drop down

    This would allow you to continue with the " one you send it , no editing" concept. If the users can't get it right they are only sending it to them selves so what's the big deal if they send it to the wrong date ? Go back and send it again to the correct date but having the choice of date to send to would make this service awesome.

  19. Fix problem with pastbin

    I got a letter from a couple months ago and it is telling me that the pastbin ID is unknown. I am really upset with this. I am unable to see what I wrote and I was looking forward to what I wrote. Thanks.

  20. Add an edit button and a re-send validation email

    Edit button so we can edit the letter ( I don't really care about mistakes if it's from yourself you will udnerstand you :D but yeah.)

    A resend validation email button.
    Now this I say because I have sent a few emails but I have only recieved 4 email validations when I have sent 10 emails, can you please add this in? :D
