allow us to see the latest public letter real-time
At least add the option to see the oldest << and newest >> letters.

allow people to mark their favorite public letters.
I used to just save everything on my bookmarks page and then I gave up.

Any letter you liked will now be saved on your very own “Your Likes” page.
(Release note: only “Likes” since about July 1, 2020 are saved for your account, as previously we did not associate Likes with a user account…sorry! Any Likes in the future will be saved from now on!)

let users see how many stars have been given to a letter
for example in your "outbox" behind the letter it would say how many stars, thereby you could se if others liked your letter

it’s still in “beta” but will be moving over everything in the next few days.

Tell us the email address it'll be sent from
This way, I can set up a filter so it won't be sent to spam, and I don't have to worry about deleting my message.
5 votesWe do actually mention this, both after hitting “submit”, and then at the “what” page:
“…the letter will be delivered from the email address: mailer (then the at sign) futureme.org”

Allow us to see old letters w/o resending.
For example, I apparently sent a private letter to a friend that was delivered last spring. Sure, I could change the email to mine and do a resend, but that seems like more work than necessary. It's stored on your server anyway, and it's my letter...

handle mobile formatting (especially iphone!) better
would be nice if the site was easier to use from a mobile device

yup – you can indeed “Reply to the Past”.!
If you have an account, you can log in, and respond to your past self for a delivered letter.
Oh yeah. Watch out, space-time continuum.
