allow users to write to the past!
yup – you can indeed “Reply to the Past”.!
If you have an account, you can log in, and respond to your past self for a delivered letter.
Oh yeah. Watch out, space-time continuum.

Writting an e mail to our past selves... That's what I've been looking for years. I need answers now, and a few years ago I needed answers that no one but me, has the answers.... Keep in touch with this feature, Sounds crazy now, but the internet is unlimited. it could happen

It would be great if people could just write an update to an e-mail that has been delivered. I read the public ones and want to know, did they move cities, did they write their book, are they still together, etc.

It isn't going to happen because I haven't recived an email from future me yet and I know I would send an email to the past if I could.
It would be cool but it isn't going to happen. -

That would be so awsome!!!!!!!!!! I put in my email to invent a way of doing that

I really can't work out how people think this would work. Of course I would love for it to happen, but it's impossible. I wish i could get a letter from myself right now from the future telling me how life is going but it isn't going to happen.
Good luck with that though.

That would be excellent. Although you might get in trouble with SEC and state lotteries since people will be cheating the stock market and sweeping the jackpots left and right. But if implemented correctly it would be invaluable tool.

this doesn't make any sense and is totally pointless.
The whole fun about future me is the fact that these letters appear in out inboxes so long after we've sent them that we completely forgot about them in the first place (like a time capsule). Now try to swich that around... all you're doing is writing the letters.. you're past self wont see them. and even if they do.. you're already in the future so what does it matter.
this is stupid. the picture thing is better. -

I agree with Chuan Li, but it should be more complex.
I was thinking about answering to a few personality question of how you think you're future you would be, and other questions about how you are right now. Then you would be asked to answer the e-mails of the future person that matches your answers.
Just a thought. -

Someone didn't think this one through too well. I'm thinking Butterfly Effect right now. Wouldn't that just muck EVERYTHING up?
Although:
If I could write a letter to me and send it back in time to myself at seventeen, first I'd prove it's me by saying "Look under your bed. There's a Skoal can and a playboy no one else would know you hid." Then I'd say "I know it's tough when you break up after seven months. Yeah, I know you really liked him and it just don't seem fair. All I can say is pain like that is fast and it's rare. You've got so much going for you going right. But I know, at 17 it's hard to see past Friday night. He wasn't right for you, but still you feel like there's a knife sticking out of your back. You'll make it through this and you'll see, you're still around to write this letter to me." -

Well, the mail from your futureme to current you does not need to be written by you in future. It could good be another registered user playing role game. And this web service connects you two.
