fix a bug...
You can still read the letters before they are delivered, just discovered it today.
if you log in and view the list of letter that are yet to be sent, you can right click on the "delete" option and select "open link in new tab". the letter opens in that new tab.4 votesall fixed!

Edit the email subject
Hi, I don't want to change the email content, but would it be against the rules to change the email subject? In my case I've sent my daughter a birthday email, and I neglected to put in "Happy Birthday" into the subject line. Thanks! Love the site.

Let me set the default date that appears when I write a letter
Currently it is automatically set to one year from the day the letter is written, but I would like to be able to change it to one month. Thanks!

allow users to send a video message in future?
wouldn't this be cool? one can record and put it up for the future.. and if the message is to be sent 2 years in the future.. one can see.. how much as he changed since then.

I would love for you to add something for kids... I'm a 30 years father of 2 year old twins and I think about stuff like this all the time..
Even if I set up an email for them, at such a young age, it would probably be deleted for lack of activity... Make it almost like a will... Then in your actual will, you would give them the email and password or code... I know people could put it on paper but things happen, people move, things get misplaced and forgotten... I'd gladly pay for this service... The peace of mind that I would have knowing my kids could have some type of relationship with me if I were to die, would be priceless

Reduce the minimum sending time to 1 week instead of 30 days
30 days is A LOT. I absolutely love receiving letters from my past self and some days, i realize I'm not going to get an email any time soon. Then, 30 days is heck too long. Please reduce it.

Can the letter be sent to a physical address?
I'm surprised that no website has offer this service. I'm willing to pay money to receive a letter from me in the past to my physical address. I'm sure many pen and paper enthusiasts will appreciate this idea.

Allow us to Add Many awesome features
It would be nice if you guys updated your UI and allowed us to add Voice/Video in our messages.Please make something like Snapchat App where we can take a snap and set a time period for it to reach us.Also please make a reply to past mail function and a Premium button with which you guys can take money for Pinning Premium FutureMe Mails.It would be cool

Keep Allowing Users To See Specific 'Arrival Date' of Written Letters
I love using FutureMe and while the new beta version is clean and looks fantastic...it strips users of the ability to see what date their previously written letters will arrive on. I liked that feature because I could ensure I didn't send two letters to the same date. I'd like this over the current system which simply says how many months/years the letters are poised to arrive when looking through one's account.
That or the option to use FutureMe under the old platform opposed to the new, rolled out version. That would be extremely welcome for users who face issues…

We can pretty easily add back in specific dates…we thought it would be a little more fun to have some mystery…but I can see where you’re coming from. It may take a while to prototype retrogressive data transmission and bypass causal loops, but I think it will be well worth the effort.
I eagerly await my first email containing a timeline of my entire life and a chronologized spreadsheet containing the flavors of jam that I'll be spreading on my toast every morning.4 votes -

insert a keyword at a bar reasearch and find some letters with specific themes.

Daily diary email
There was a service called Oh Life a few years ago that sent you a daily email to ask about your day. You would reply and it would be stored as a diary entry that will be sent to you after a year.
It was a fantastic service but was shut down. If you could add a feature like this to FutureMe, it would be fantastic.

Videos and Pictures for the Future
Also send letters amd videos in the future. Because that's the future Ahahahahaha Together with letters At least we should have pictures or even videos together with them
