We’re always to eager to hear ideas for the FutureMe community. Either vote on an existing idea or enter a new one!

futureme.org should...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Allow users to be able to translate the public entries.

    Say you see a public entry and it's in spanish and you don't speak spanish so have a translator thing there.

  2. Make a 'non delivered' mail

    It would be nice if you get a non delivered mail if the email adress was wrong or deleted. This would then only apply on emails that were send to friends because maybe you lost contact with that person. Then it is a reminder and you would pick up the phone yourself and call your friend. Do not make a deliverd mail because it wouldn't be a suprise anymore if your long lost friend calls you in the middle of the day.

  3. Let me edit my email address so I can use the site!

    I tried signing up multiple time but entered my email address wrong both times. so Michelleboyce and Michelleboycee and both unusable accounts for me. PLEASE FIX

  4. Email Skins/Styles/Frames

    You can send an email with a skin/style/frame. So there's different styles/skins/frames you can choose for example a pink email with hearts or an email with a gold frame. Or maybe a feature to enter your own CSS coding and save/sent it to the server/website and other people can use it.

  6. adding multiple recipients

    i've broke with my girl friend trying test her couse i'm planing to marry her next year @ the same date , i want to send her a future mail to tell her what was my plan , so that after a year she can understand why i broke up with her whether she's married or still alone @ that time , the bottom line is ,, that i want to add her E-mail and mine as well on the recipient of that mail i'm planing to send , what i'm asking / suggesting is , to allow adding multiple…

  7. Future me template suggestion form of questions

    1. where do you see yourself in 5/10/20 years
    2. will you still be with current spouse
    3. immediate desirable plans
    4. goals you would like to achieve
    5. Life changing moment, did you fulfil it?
    6. looking back now at your results, did you reach what you wanted in life?
    7. what are the next goals etc etc etc

  8. allow modification of date to be sent

    Allowing updates to the message would be useful.
    Only other option is to delete the old message and create a new one.

  9. Emotes And Birthday cards!

    As you know many people like to send stuff to themselves when thy turn 50 or 30 or 13 or 25 and stuff so it would be cool if we could send something colourful!

  10. Video or voice recordings

    I think it would be pretty cool to record video or voice recordings to your future self. you could see how you looked or sounded. i think it would be pretty cool.

  11. Add a recording option

    I think it would be nice if we were allowed to record between 10 - 30 seconds of us speaking, so we can see if there's any difference; also I think if we read out a section of the letter, maybe the most emotional part, it would help emphasise our message.

  12. Let the user Reschedule his previous mails or Change Recipients 

    There arises a possibility that mail we intend to send to a close friend of ours is no longer someone whom we can trust. In that case we wouldn't want him to receive the mail we have scheduled him to receive.
 So it would be great if Futureme allows us modify recipients of the mail after the mail has been scheduled.
  Another requirement can be of modifying the Date to which mail is to be sent.Such situation can arise when we realize that the earlier planned moment was not the right moment...and it has to be changed.

  14. Crescer pro instragam

    muitas pessoas que gostariam de compartilhar cartas para outras pessoas, não tem o e-mail da pessoa as vezes, seria interessante talvez fazer um sistema onde a carta fosse enviada pela DM do instragram
