Anonymous Support
Let us anonymously email contributors suffering hard times. They don't have our email, we don't have theirs, they just get a supportive msg.
131 votesInteresting idea…a challenge for this would be to prevent abuse and try to ensure the feedback is indeed supportive and not pithy, mean, spam, etc…but I like the idea. Perhaps letter writers could check a box for “Allow Comments”, but we would have to build a moderation system which isn’t easy.

Let us send FutureMe emails to groups to remember a moment
So that we can use FutureMe to remember special moments with a group of people. I've been using FutureMe to send letters to future for the players that I coach to show them how they have grown or to remember momentous occassions.

Allow periodic reminders at set intervals.
Setting a goal is great but tracking your progress is critical if you're ever going to achieve the goal.
Allow the ability to set reminders (5 year goals could have a yearly reminder, 1 year goals could be monthly or quarterly).Allow users to update the status to track their progress.

allow us to edit the writing
we should be allowed to edit thr writing like in microsoft and other programes, we should get o choose the size colour and structure also a spellchecker!

have an option for permanently hiding a sent message in the delivery outbox
I think this would be great for registered users who use the site frequently. Hiding the message instead of seeing it for delivery would be more exciting and you're more apt to forget about writing it.

allow us to use HTML in the emails sent.
Such as allowing us to change font size, bold text, change font colour, etcetera. Just a thought. :)

New Layout
I find it really confusing and difficult to find when my next FutureMe should be arriving. They don't seem to be in any specific order?

Facebook and email connections.
I think it would be great to connect this with your facebook and be able to send message's from your facebook to yourself. As a safety feature you would have to also verify by the email used with the facebook account.

Resend email every year option
I think it would be nice, if you could have an email send year after year. Like "Today your kid took his first steps" and be reminded of that date every year.

Add alternative e-mail option for if we will be dead and mail won't read so send it to our friend
What if we can't read our mail?What if we will be dead? It will be great to verification link in the e-mail so if mail couldn't read futureme.org send mail to our friends may be our son, our wife?? But why we just send mail to our son? Because may be we don't wanna share our mail if we won't be dead...

Change the Send Date
If a future email is supposed to arrive on the day of a special occasion (such as a wedding) and the date is later changed, it would be nice to alter the date that the email is to be sent. The same 90 day restriction would apply.

Back up plan!
Make sure there is a back up plan so that these letters won't be lost if this site is deleted or anything happens!
