We’re always to eager to hear ideas for the FutureMe community. Either vote on an existing idea or enter a new one!

  2. Random send dates

    It would be cool to have a random date option. You could click Random Future Date or something and then you could "refine" the randomness, for lack of a better way of stating it. You could say, you know, Random date in a certain year, random day in a certain month, random WEEKDAY in a certain month or a certain year, random WEEKEND in a certain month or a certain year, et cetera. You could even go as far as to be able to highlight a specific week to pick a random send date for. That would make it more…

  4. Allow users to hide their letters

    Allow users to hide their future letters so the user will (kinda) forgot that they had sent a letter and will be surprised when they receive one. And of course it is permanent and cannot be undo.

  13. Open-source the codebase

    Matt and Jay are kept busy with their day jobs, which understandably prevents them from committing fully to FutureMe, so why not put the codebase up on Github for us to contribute to?

    it might be my incompetence but i can't go verify my email without donating... and that doesn't feel like a donation, but actually a charge. I'd be happy to donate once I've experienced - once - what the thing is.....

    There should be a feature where we can send our future selves a video to remember what we sounded and looked like! That way your future you can hear and see.
