We’re always to eager to hear ideas for the FutureMe community. Either vote on an existing idea or enter a new one!

  1. Allow us to use italics or the tab feature within the letters

    I don't know if this is already a thing, and maybe my computer just won't let me do it, but I can never seem to use the tab button within my letters. I'd like to be able to distinguish the start of each paragraph somehow, and pressing the space bar a bunch of times at the beginning of each gets rather obnoxious and time consuming. Also, being able to italicize certain words for emphasis would definitely be nice.

    Allow users to attach photos and images to send to their future self. Who doesn't like a good laugh out of our old photos? It is fun to see them and it also reminds us of several memories

  9. Check if I verified my email address for past letters

    I sent an email to myself nearly 10 years ago, and I've just sent another one a few minutes ago, and it asked to confirm my email address. I can't remember if I even confirmed my email address the last time, so I'm worried that I'll be anticipating an email just before my 28th birthday for no reason. Is there a way to check this?

  13. Add an override for the letter date (for extreme circumstances)

    I don't know how often this happens but there should be an option to solve it. I put a very important password in my letter while I wasn't thinking straight to lock myself out of my device. I now realize that was a foolish decision since the date is too far away. Maybe you can allow users to contact support for this issue?

  14. Incorporate new technology and allow some letters to be handwritten.

    Lots of computers these days have touch screens and it could be interesting to compare handwriting styles.

  19. Add a tab to send to "one month from now"

    When writing letters we have an option to send to one year from now, how about adding "one month from now"? That would save much time twiddling with the date...
