We’re always to eager to hear ideas for the FutureMe community. Either vote on an existing idea or enter a new one!

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  3. Why not to attach the photos like in the previous years?

    When I wrote the letters in 2015 and 2016 I might attach an one photo from webcam to the letter. Today I can't do it. Why?

  4. Keep Allowing Users To See Specific 'Arrival Date' of Written Letters

    I love using FutureMe and while the new beta version is clean and looks fantastic...it strips users of the ability to see what date their previously written letters will arrive on. I liked that feature because I could ensure I didn't send two letters to the same date. I'd like this over the current system which simply says how many months/years the letters are poised to arrive when looking through one's account.

    That or the option to use FutureMe under the old platform opposed to the new, rolled out version. That would be extremely welcome for users who face issues…

    We have added a "Return to the old site’ link in the header (once you are signed in)

    We can pretty easily add back in specific dates…we thought it would be a little more fun to have some mystery…but I can see where you’re coming from.   6. What if at the top of the FutureMe page, there was a countdown until your next letter would come?

    it would be a lot easier and even more fun if we could countdown until the letter arrives. I don't know, it would be dramatic and helpful.

  7. A backup alarm...

    First of all thanks for creating such a cool site...I was thinking if you can add such a system so that if i don't visit "Futureme" within a defined time period(defined by me) "futureme"will send my letter to my defined group of people........I was thinking this because if any accident happens to any one they can share things that they cant now.....In other word "A Backup for future"......thanks

  10. Display the total number of emails you've sent (group by month/year)

    So we can see how many are scheduled to a specific month and we can better select a new date to send our next letter.
    I rather have 1 mail per month than 12 in one month and none the rest of the year.

    Estou recebendo mensalmente o valor da doação que eu fiz pensando que seria apenas no mês que eu propus doar. Se tivesse um canal de facilidade de cancelamento na página inicial como tem para inserir os dados do cartão para doação ficaria muito grato.

  17. Can the letter be sent to a physical address?

    I'm surprised that no website has offer this service. I'm willing to pay money to receive a letter from me in the past to my physical address. I'm sure many pen and paper enthusiasts will appreciate this idea.

    You should make an app so that users could add videos and photos straight from their phone's gallery...rather than having to download the pictures/videos onto a computer.

  19. add attachments and formatting

    Just like in an actual email client

    Attachments: attach files or insert pictures (replacing webcam picture feature, you just take a picture with your camera app then attach it)
    Formatting: bold, italic, underline, fonts, font size, font color, highlight color, number lists, bullet lists, indent, text align, links, emoji
