    You have left! (?) (thinking…)
How important is this to you?

Interesting idea…a challenge for this would be to prevent abuse and try to ensure the feedback is indeed supportive and not pithy, mean, spam, etc…but I like the idea. Perhaps letter writers could check a box for “Allow Comments”, but we would have to build a moderation system which isn’t easy.

This is a really nice and supportive idea. To ensure there is no abuse and to make sure that no one is being sent something offensive, a moderation system would be needed. There is tech out there that is used to page crawl and read through sites now to target particular content. This sort of content could be monitored through this sort of safety guideline and would need to be tested. It could start of with a small batch of the letters to test on instead of all of them followed up with with a quality assurance team to make sure. This a/b sort of testing would be the only way to really make sure but a set of keywords could be implemented to ensure safety.

I think this would be a great idea, have users pay through paypal. There could be a cute template and a matching envelope. On a technical level it's more complicated to execute but I think it's still doable. For logistic's sake, I think that it would make sense that letters be shown here on the site like the regular email. But when it comes times users are emailed when the letters are sent as a sort of shipping notification. Since there are varying times when it comes to the postal service, it would be best to ship it ahead of time but have the when to open date written on it. Since postal time is something that cannot be controlled. The person is responsible to open it on the stated date. In order make sure letters aren't lost, users would have a to pay a little more for tracking. There could even be some sort of merchandise that could be attached as an add-on to make it a package from the past to go along with a letter. This sort of service would be considered a premium for an experience. Overall, I would personally love to send a package from the past the future or even receive a physical letter. Price could vary depending on what is safest for sending letters. The account holder could be notified via email for the process, such as the letter from the past is being prepared please wait for shipping notice with tracking. There could be a window and cutoff time for when addresses could be changed.
